Raised in rural Indiana, Beth Mueller now lives in Barre, Vermont, where she creates splendid hand-painted ceramic pieces. Beth received a BA from Eckerd College.
During her time there, she also worked at Studio Santa Reparata in Florence Italy, learning printmaking. Upon graduation, she served a two-year apprenticeship in the pottery studio of John Glick.
She is inspired by capturing small snapshots of what she sees around her. “It all amazes me,” she says. “All of these pieces relate in one way or another to some part of my life—a trip, a person—they are often little personal notes...”
